About us
Our practice is most likely the longest established Veterinary Centre in Wigan. The surgery was originally in the 1920's used by a local GP and in the 1950's the site was converted into a Veterinary Practice.
The Practice had a first major expansion under the previous owner, Mr. McNish MRCVS, in the mid-seventies and was well known in the area as McNish Veterinary Centre to a whole generation of Wiganers.
When Mr. McNish retired in 1996, Luc Van Dijck DVM MRCVS became the sole Principal. Since 1996 the practice has undergone a major modernisation and refurbishment process to make a successful transition from a typical mixed practice to a more specialist companion animal practice.
