Miss Mary Meadows - Receptionist

I have been with the practice for 22 years straight from school. I came here as a trainee nurse but transferred to reception 12 years ago and enjoy it very much. I am head receptionist and my special responsibilities include re-ordering of pharmacy drugs and specialist prescription diets. I have one black lab who is getting on in years now; my hobbies include swimming, walking my dog and traveling.

Karen Lowe - Receptionist

Part time evening receptionist for about 12 months, but have been with the practice as a client for a long time with my 3 pet dogs. Brandy age 9, Scooby age 17 and Tramp age 13 who has recently had a course of chemotherapy for cancer at the surgery and is doing really well at this time.

I also work during the day as a mobile dog groomer which I’ve been doing for 11 years. My interests include horse riding, walking and going to the theatre. I’ve also been a member of the local pentecostal church (Kingsway Christian Centre) for about 7 years which I attend twice a week.

Marg Dolman - Receptionist

Part time receptionist for 24 years with the practice. Married with 2 adult children. Before my present position I worked as a medical secretary for 6 years in a radiography department of a large city hospital. My interests include reading, gardening and a very special interest, my grandson Aaron. I love dogs especially Staffies and I also have a cute little canary called Charlie.

Pauline Garside - Receptionist

Part time receptionist. I only joined the practice recently. I am married with 3 children and 3 Grandchildren. My interests are my animals. I have 2 golden retrievers, 2 cocker spaniels, 1 rabbit, 1 ferrett and a cockatiel. I also attend obedience classes and hope to go to agility classes with my dogs.

Marian Castelli - Secretary

Part time secretary for 10 years at this practice. Married with 4 children, I live on a farm and have a milk round which I also work on. I have lots of different types of pets, including dogs, cats, a rabbit, a guinea pig, love bird, pigeon, hens and fish inside and outside. My special interest are gardening, visiting historic buildings and collecting and viewing antiques.
